It is close to the activities that the Susitna Valley is known for: flight seeing Mt. McKinley, river boating, rafting, dog mushing, and sight-seeing the historical gold-mining town of Talkeetna.
 

The campground has electric hookups, pull-throughs, picnic tables, toilets, fire rings, BBQ, and convenience store.  The store sells firewood, snacks, fishing gear, tackle and licenses, groceries, ice, books, RV and camping supplies, and rents fishing equipment.
