Located on 55 acres along the Neuse River, this beautiful nature-based park is brimming with fun things to do. Enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, biking, picnicing, canoeing, and a 16x24-foot rock climbing wall at the Nature Center.

 
Spend the night under the stars at this full-service campground nestled along the Neuse River. The Kinston-Lenoir County Tourism Development Authority Campground has river access, hot showers, fire rings, picnic tables and a dump station. Numerous campsite accommodations of all kinds are available, ranging from those with full hook-ups for recreational vehicles to scenic tent campsites.

Camping & Group Camping

The Kinston-Lenoir County Tourism Development Authority Campground is a full-service campground by the Neuse River offering eight sites with full hook-ups for recreational vehicles (including water, sewer, and 20-, 30-, and 50-amp electric hook-ups); additional sites with 30-amp hook-ups; and tent sites without hookups. A fee is charged for all sites.
Group camping is welcomed. Group camping is for RV Clubs, scout troops, special events, etc. To schedule a group camping trip, contact the Nature Center. The Meeting Facility can be used in case of rain for meals. Camping groups may also want to schedule the picnic shelter for cookouts. Group camping fees include the meeting room and the picnic shelter.
