Tired of fishing?  Go golfing!  There are quite a few nice golf courses nearby.

Parades, craft shows and food tents - that's just some of the fun you'll find at our local summer celebrations,  including  Barryton Days, Remus Heritage Days and the Wheatland Music Festival.

For those rainy nights, when the campfire is out of the question, try the casino in Mt. Pleasant.  They have a delicious buffet and if you plan ahead, you can see a show or a concert.
