Corsicana is the Fruit Cake Capital of the World. Collins
Street Bakery sales over six million fruit cakes a year and ships them
all over the world. Tours of the bakery are available.
For the chocolate lovers, Russell Stover's Candy is made at the
local factory. Some of the candy may be purchased for up to 75% off the
regular price.
Cooks Center at the Navarro College has a Civil War Museum and a Planetarium. For the shoppers, Corsicana has several antique shops, a outlet mall, and for the sportsman there is Gander Mountain.
In the spring, Corsicana celebrates it founding with "Gusher Days".
There is music in the air and dancing in the streets. The main streets
are lined with vendors and there are carnival rides for the kids. The spring also brings the rodeos and horse show to the local arena.
