Cass Lake Lodge is located in the chippewa National Forest.  We are close to Itaska State Park.  We have several golf courses within a 15 minute drive.  Bike trails next to resort.  Birding, hiking, horseback riding are all close by.  Shop in Walker or Bemidji at the new outlet mall coming in 2006.  Palcae Casino located 3 miles west of resort.  Take a boat ride and dine on the lake at one of the nearby restaurants.  Pow Wows during the summer.
