  • Local Things to Do!

Brush! is located on the old Texas/Montana cattle trail and there is a museum right down the street from the campground where travelers can learn more about the history of this area.  The downtown business district is within walking distance and the Prarie Trails Park and Doty pond are open for fishing and biking/walking.  The Brush Prairie Ponds State Wildlife Area is only a mile away where campers can reserve a time to hunt on this natural grassland.

Throughout the year there are many events hosted by the city, including our annual 4th of July Rodeo.  The Brush! Professional Rodeo is a must see if you are traveling through the area around this time.  Other events throughout the year include Oktoberfest, St. Patty's Day 5k, Cinco de Mayo, International Music Festival, etc. There is also a 9 hole golf course on the North end of town.

When your stay in Brush! is over, consider hitting the Pawnee Pioneer Trails Scenic and Historic Byway north of town.  This drive will take you through natural grassland areas and near such landmarks as the Pawnee Buttes.
